You will learn about homes and transportation in Mesquite from the past up to the present. Include things such as the horse & buggy, the railroad, the interurban, cars as well as other types of transportation.

You will create two T-charts that should include information such as:

You will learn about different ways that the early founders made Mesquite a better place to live. You will also explore some of the different ways that you can make Mesquite a better place to live.

*Brainstorm some ways that you can help your neighborhood a better place to live.
*Create a thinking map from these ideas.
***For a final product, use Pages to create a flyer advertising the need for various projects that can be started in your neighborhood that will make your neighborhood and the City of Mesquite a better place to live.
